Like many people, I like to buy greetings from non-profit organizations, but these cards can be hard to find. Most people don’t have time to do research. Why not, I thought, help people find charities that sell cards?
With the help of website developer Kristine Brashears, I started CardsThatGive.org in 2006.

The site has been up for four holiday seasons now, and its audience is growing. It has been featured in articles in Reader's Digest and Guideposts magazines as well as the Denver Post, Hartford Courant, Minneapolis Star-Tribune, Orlando Sentinel, Austin American-Statesman, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, among other publications.
Kim Komando has selected it as a Cool Site of the Day five times, and CoolMomPicks.com has recommended it too.
Charities need extra help these days, so it makes sense to buy products that help worthy organizations. I hope you find the cards you are seeking here. If not, please visit again soon.
